Commercial Lending Credit Analyst

iew: Are you an experienced Credit Analyst looking to leverage your existing experience? Financial leader in Stamford wants you! The focus will be commercial lending and evaluating all packages and related documentation. Experience is a must!   Responsibilities: Prepares spreads, checks credit, reviews and analyzes (of) financial statements and other pertinent data, (to assist) in the underwriting, approval and review of commercial credits; Monitor overdrafts: assists in the collection of overdrafts; supports the administration of loan workout function. Oversees credit software system and acts as liaison with vendor. Oversees a tickler system in order to maintain and update(s) financial information contained in credit files; (assists in the preparation of) prepares loan presentations for new loan facilities/ renewals, annual reviews and assist in the preparation of various Board of Director quarterly reports; Developing global cash flow analysis on borrowers and guarantors in order to (that) demonstrate(s) their ability to service debt. Preparing annual reviews of existing relationships using current financial information as directed Preparing loan reports and processes forms as assigned. Monitoring daily overdraft and uncollected activity on commercial deposit accounts. Determines if rate of completion is consistent with terms of advance; makes recommendation to loan officer. Providing back-up to Letter-of-Credit administration and documentation. (Conforms all work functions to the various compliance requirements) Following through on open issues surfaced by loan reviews; collects and forwards information until resolution. Preparing various reports for department. Performs other related duties as required.   Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience 1-5 years of experience in credit analysis, collections and workout and up to 12 months experience in loan or credit administration. Ability to evaluate, structure, and underwrite moderate-to-complex real estate transactions strongly desired. Underwriting experience/know-how Experience with appraisal monitoring and reviewing is a plus.
