 Â Â Â Â         HigherSchool          Instructional Services                          1997 Annapolis Exchange Parkway, Suite 300 Annapolis, MD 21401 SUMMARY HigherSchool Instructional Services is seeking a seasoned leader with experience in New York City Public Schools with business acumen to accelerate the adoption of the HigherSchool Instructional Services Extended Learning Time Program and create the organizational structure for long-term success. The Director will develop a strategic plan, negotiate deals, interface with senior school leaders, work collaboratively with HigherSchool team members and represent HigherSchool at conferences and meetings in New York City. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, flexible team player who enjoys building strategic partnerships and is comfortable creating systems and processes from scratch. An interest in blended learning and other cutting edge educational strategies is a must. QUALIFICATIONS • Previous experience with New York City Public Schools as a teacher or administrator is required; experience in Bronx County is strongly preferred; • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills • Ability to travel frequently within the city of New York • Integrity/ethics beyond reproach • Goal oriented with superior work ethic ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Ability to conduct strategic outreach to foster new relationships • Following-up with school and district administrators • Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed Extended Learning Time goals • Prospect to identify and qualify new potential schools, including cold calling and development of leads through referral channels, to generate appointments and establish revenue generating relationships • Ability to negotiate to secure partnership agreements with school and district administrators • Ability to effectively maintain and expand relationships through email, phone, webinar, and face-to-face contact • Flexibility to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and prioritize accordingly.  • Adaptable to changing priorities Salary commensurate with experience For additional information about HigherSchool Instructional Services please visit our web-site at www. higherschool.com
