Treasury Manager (Unionpay)

reasury Manager position is responsible for ensuring timely and efficient transaction processing of all outbound payments execution. The ideal candidate will assist with both internal and external customers related to wire or payment requests and inquiries. Perform a variety of routine daily treasury tasks, reconcile transactions and conduct payment research to resolve production issues as escalated.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (NOT LIMITED TO): Process both outbound and internal transfer payment requests Ensure payment requests are within authorization limits of requestors prior to processing Validate and upload payment files from internal systems Analyze and monitor outgoing wire transfers via the automated processing system Perform debit/credit wire reconciliation and confirmations Investigate and research wire transfer issues Monitor the status of wire and funds transfers Contact Banks for returned wires, request wire amendment, and wire recall. Identify, assess, and prioritize potential payment issues Ensure all sensitive data is handled appropriately Perform other duties as assigned   QUALIFICATIONS: Must be familiar with Unionpay transactions processing – receiving and sending Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Accounting Minimum of 2 years Banking Operations experience in a deadline-driven environment Knowledge of wire clearing systems and associated bank messaging (e.g. SWIFT/ SEPA) Good problem solving to respond to inquiries and processing issues in a timely manner Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a team environment Ability to apply sound business principles and practices to daily transaction activity Self-starter and able to work under minimal supervision Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and Internet Good communication skills in English Able to maintain confidentiality
