Bilingual Mandarin- Administrative Assistant
/> Position Administration Assistant-Bilingual (Mandarin and English) Location USA - New York, New York Position Type Employee Employment Type Full Time Company Overview A rapid growing multinational foreign Bank seeking Administration Assistant. Great opportunity. This exciting position at the New York Branch will report to the Deputy General Manager Of General Office. Responsibilities · Responsible for facility management, making sure the facility runs smoothly at day to day base, including coordination with the building and internal employees, fulfill facility maintenance requests and keeping the work space nice and clean. · Perform on-going vendor management including products or service purchasing, vendor scorecard development and management, monitoring contract execution, fulfill internal business needs through working with vendors. · Help with administrative work including preparing accounts payable related paperwork, organizing executive meetings, taking meeting minutes, prepare reports and memos, write up correspondence, mail and package distribution and etc. · Responsible for daily visitor reception. · Answer main line for the New York Branch and route calls on the telephone system to appropriate Branch employees. · Work with third party service provider for property management, including service monitoring, invoice validation and on-going property maintenance issue resolution. · Assist General Office and Human Resource Department with corporate events organization throughout the year. · Perform other administrative work as assigned. Skills and Experience Native Mandarin speaker. At least one year work experience in a similar role (experience with international bank preferred). Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred. Excellent communication and writing skills required. Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels. Commitment to both external and internal customer service. Must have the ability to multitask in a constantly changing fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Goal oriented, motivated self-starter with good problem-solving skills. Proven experience in working in a team environment and seen as a strong team player. Keen attention to detail, professional demeanor and the ability to exercise good judgment. Ability to project a professional image over the phone and in person. Willingness to take initiative. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, confident, reliable, and outgoing. Must be comfortable with working in a multicultural environment and willing to learn. Ability to work overtime/evenings when necessary
