DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING

Company is a subsidiary of a global environmental corporation.    Director of Engineering will be  responsible for all engineering and technical services activities for Projects.  This position oversees and is responsible for the direct management of the relationships with Client, Consultants and Contractors in coordination with Operations.       Routine responsibilities include: Preparation of Engineering studies, evaluations and  planning reports Provide technical assistance to operations and maintenance teams including technical memos and process control recommendations Provide capital project management, progress reviews, budget reviews and forecasts Develop project concepts, alternatives, scopes, schedules and budgets Provide technical leadership in dealing with regulatory permitting, government agencies, consultants and contractors Manage engineering staff and external contractors including vendors, engineering consultants and contractors Actively participate in routine meetings such as public and client presentations on project related activity Assist with due diligence, proposal preparations and costing for potential new business Manage all R & D projects and equipment and process pilot application    Requirements    15 years related work experience preferably in a water/wastewater or public works environment A minimum of two (2) years of process engineering, construction engineering and design engineering Knowledge of Wastewater treatment technology and equipment Excellent Project Management experience   Education/Equivalent: Bachelor Degree  in Engineering State of New York professional engineering certification/license
