Lead Software Engineer

You will be the lead engineer on a small and highly talented cross-functional team that handles all monetization aspects of Cortica products. This is a strong revenue generating team and plays a key role in all current projects. Monetization includes traditional advertising (XML, display, video), eCommerce programs, search, mobile ad models, content, and more. As a key member of this team you will: Be responsible for communication and integration with internal teams (image recognition and product teams) Be responsible for design, development and deployment of new products Lead and direct the implementation of new revenue generating relationships Ensure proper testing and monitoring of products during and post launch Oversee reporting solutions Help to build and grow the monetization team Much, much more This is a position with substantial and rapid growth potential into a team leader Desired Skills and Experience Experience with designing and implementing large scale, multi-module, distributed systems and services Java/J2EE (Server Side) 5+ years Ability to work w/ various APIs - JSON, REST, XML Working knowledge of SQL, Linux, Tomcat Experience with advertising systems/ real-time bidding systems is an advantage NoSQL is an advantage Lucene is an advantage Experience with building / leading a team of developers
