Project Engineer (Electrical)

on Engineering Associates, LLP is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to join our New York City engineering team. The ideal candidate will have an electrical background and will be responsible for the design, construction, operations and maintenance or commissioning of over 100,000 square feet of projects, including Management, scheduling and budgeting assigned projects Preparation of weekly task lists for Engineering Manager for inclusion in weekly work plan Execution and management of tasks within time budgeted Maintain relations with existing clients on assigned projects Support the Engineering Manager in the training and mentoring of team members on proper documentation development, field procedures and equipment usage Support other project engineers and senior project engineers as required to maintain full utilization Any special projects as required Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience in engineering or construction/maintenance related experience with a 2 year engineering technology or vocational degree Minimum of 3 years experience working with electrical systems, absorbers, chillers, boilers, and optimization techniques required; controls experience a plus EIT or CEM certification preferred LEED AP preferred Hands-on-experience of HVAC and/or electrical systems Trade association participation a plus Able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs and climb ladders Ability to travel EOE
