Sr. Project Manager

r Project Manager ________________________________________ The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for the total project management lifecycle of all projects within the Industrial Group of IAC Acoustics. ________________________________________ The Sr. Project Manager is expected to: • Manage key projects personally as well as supervise the Team’s staff of Project Engineers/Managers and Designers to achieve successful completion of all projects. • Responsible for total project lifecycle post-sale including design, fabrication, installation and subcontracting via planning, directing and controlling all technical and financial activities. • Responsible for all Customer communications and project cost management within budget. • Competitively negotiate design, installation and material/labor subcontracts. • Able to perform general engineering calculations including structural, HVAC, electrical, etc. • Must be able to travel occasionally to job sites as necessary. • Projects as assigned. Required experience and knowledge • BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering • Minimum 8 years’ experience in the general contracting industry, power industry, noise control industry or in construction management. • Contract//Fabrication drawing and Specification proficiency required. • Adherence to Contract requirements like AIA invoicing, certified payrolls, LEED submittals, Lien Releases, insurance, Schedule of Values, OSHA safety, etc. required. • Computer proficiency including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Scheduling software • Financial planning responsibility– short and long term. • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment • Must be able to travel to worksites and perform necessary manual tasks required. Beneficial requirements • AutoCAD and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)knowledge a plus • Advanced degree (ME or MBA) and PE license a plus ________________________________________ We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a 401k plan.
