/> PART TIME BARTENDER The Bartender will serve and make drinks at the bar for the guests and servers and maintain the highest level of standards and efficiency. Obtain orders from guests; serve food and beverages while maintaining the highest quality in service and attention to the guest. Greet guests, seat guests and explain specials and promotions. Mix drinks for servers according to standard recipes. Familiarity with wine list and stemware and appropriate garnishes used. Delivers food and beverages Keep bar stocked and clean. Follow side work sheet. Monitor inventory. Be knowledgeable of the menu for guests ordering at the bar. Ensure the consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails. Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws. Handle all checks and cash according to procedures. Anticipate and understand guest’s service needs and respond promptly Follows hotel’s standards, policies and procedures Comply with all departmental policies and service procedures Complete pre-function side work and post function side work. Maintain positive guest relations at all times. Monitor and maintain cleanliness/sanitation/organization standards Must be able to work a flexible schedule High School diploma or equivalent One year experience in high-end restaurant or luxury hotel/conference center
