Program Coordinator Assistant

lient is a public charity focused on providing resources for early-age childcare and education. They are seeking an individual to work as the Program Coordinator Assistant for the organization. Activities are presently spearheaded by a group of local, young professionals, and we are seeking some help! The position will focus primarily on the carrying out the daily operations of the foundation. Responsibilities will be wide-ranging and include, but are not limited to: • Interfacing with the Board of Directors, including coordinating times and taking minutes for meetings of the Board and its committees; • Corresponding with, managing inventory of, and accounting of donations to childcare centers that have been recipients of the organization’s funding. • Assisting the events committee in hosting fundraisers • Working with the Fundraising and Strategic committees on soliciting corporate sponsors. • Expand partnerships with other organizations. Candidates should be web savvy, have some understanding of not for profit organizations, and be enthusiastic about being involved.
