BI-259 Data Scientist - Perl Map Reduce QA Python C++ Location: Job is in SF, Seattle, or NYC Domain:  Research & Development Experience: 5+ Years   Experienced Data Scientist is required having a Strong experience in C or C++, meaning that in addition to knowing how to cod e performant algorithms   Job Responsibilities: Formalize the product interface to deliver business value to customers without requiring expert assistance from Data Scientists other responsibilities as needed Implement state-of-the-art machine learning approaches and develop proprietary IP advances Using our product, provide rapid responses to our customers engaged in Proof of Value projects Automate and productize previously manual data science workflows to commercial software quality standards Rapid delivery of business value in complex engagements with Fortune 500 class customers Hold your own with world-class data scientists building solutions to problems that our competitors fail.   Job Requirements & Experience: Use source-code repositories and have worked with a QA team in your software development. Additionally you feel at home in popular scripting languages such as Python and Perl. Proven track record of delivering models that answer difficult questions. Comfortable with a wide set of machine learning approaches and designing the features and data processing to actually make them work. 5+ years experience Strong experience in C or C++, meaning that in addition to knowing how to cod e performant algorithms Solved problems where a billion examples was the small data set. Know how to get the most out of distributed systems such as MapReduce. Customer engagement background with a history of successful customer implementations is a definite plus.
