Permanent Clinical SAS Programming Job in NYC

escription: * Provide statistical programming support for preclinical and clinical projects in multiple therapeutic areas. * Develops SAS programs for analysis and reporting data collected in pre-clinical and clinical protocols. * Contributes to the development of standard processes for data management, programming and statistics functions. Responsibilities: * Write SAS programs that produce analysis datasets, summary tables, figures, and listings of data from clinical and pre-clinical studies * Validate SAS programming produced by other team members * Documentation of programming activities with respect to compliance with programming and validation SOPs or Work Instructions/Practices * Maintains familiarity with current industry practices and regulatory requirements and guidelines that analysis and reporting of data from pre-clinical and clinical protocols * Adheres to established regulatory standards, including but not limited to ICH-E3 guidelines * May be responsible for producing ad-hoc or post-hoc analysis of clinical trial data Experience: * At least 5 years of statistical programming experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO industry, preferably with a small company * Experience working in multiple therapeutic areas is especially desirable. Data Management or database programming experience is also desirable, as is some experience or training in statistics Education: B.S. Advanced degree in a technical field desirable - such as computer science, statistics, or biostatistics.
