Associate Grant Consultant

lor's Degree (or eight (8) years equivalent experience in lieu of a degree); Experience: Four (4) to seven (7} years of combined experience in a defined field of expertise (e. g., Grant Management, Program Management, CDBG Programs, HMGP Programs, or other Disaster Recovery expertise}. Job Responsibilities: Performs grant compliance and analytical work, manages multiple grant projects, and coordinates day-to-day activities. Applies knowledge of federal grant provisions and requirements such as procurement, labor compliance, environmental, Section 3, Section 504, URA requirements in the acquisition of property, Citizen Participation, Fair Housing, Residential Anti-Displacement, EEO, Financial Management, and Recordkeeping. Work with grantees, sub recipients, and staff regarding federal and state CDBG-DR requirements. Participate in meetings with grantees and subrecipients to conduct the assessment of proposed recovery projects and activities and works with grantees and subrecipeints applicable federal and state rules and regulations pertaining to grants. Works with current and prospective grantees and sub recipients regarding required programmatic compliance documentation. Provides review and oversight of funded projects. Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrated experience in administering, implementing, or managing grant funding at federal, state, or local levels of government.
