Sales and Business Development Manager

ecruiters is seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager. This role will be responsible for relationship management and revenue growth with mid-size clients in a geography or industry sector and for assisting BD Managers with larger clients/prospects.​   Responsibilities · Maintains and builds close relationships with appropriate personnel at assigned clients/prospects.​ · Keeps abreast of developments within assigned clients/prospects/industry and identifies new business opportunities.​ · Develops and conducts client presentations · Establishes prospect pursuit strategies.​ · Establishes joint venture or partner relationships for specific prospects · Conducts SWOT analysis.​ · Prepares or coordinates the preparation of proposals as assigned.​ · Keeps up-to-date on competitor activity and identifies any opportunities or threats.​ · Maintains client/industry database.​ · Solves problems requiring investigation and interpretation; exercises independent judgment in selecting and interpreting information.​   Knowledge, Experience, and Skills · University degree in relevant technical, financial or commercial discipline · Four or five years of business experience plus two or three years of business development experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.​ · Builds external and internal relationships, with emphasis on assigned customers and key internal/external service providers to assigned customers.​ · May provide guidance to less experienced BD representatives and support staff.​ · Work is assigned in terms of specific objectives and reviewed for completeness; unusual matters are referred to more senior authority.​ · Must have had relationships with major and mid-size companies, particularly their capital projects team (Field Development group)
