Full Time Construction Project Manager

ng a full time Project Manager for work on NYC projects. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years’ experience performing duties as a construction Project Manager on commercial construction projects. Project Management responsibilities including purchasing, client relations, project scheduling, coordination with design professionals and sub-contractors, and managing site staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS Set up and manage a high-performing project team Establish project systems and controls Manage multiple projects concurrently Coordinate the efforts between architects, engineers, construction team and owners. Create schedules utilizing Microsoft project. Develop scope of work from preliminary design/build conceptual drawings Ensure sufficient quantity of bidders for each trade by pulling names from our existing database and utilizing other methods for possible new subcontractors. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Strong knowledge of NYC DOB permitting and inspection procedures Knowledge of building components, systems and cost estimating. Excellent communication skills (internal and external). Strong focus on customer service. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently. Proven ability to successfully deliver a quality product on time and on budget. Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team. Strong computer skills (word, excel, outlook, Project) QUALIFICATIONS   Successful track record of completed projects valued at $15-80Million Bachelor Degree from an accredited University in Architecture, Construction Management and/or an Engineering discipline. 2 to 5 years relevant experience with building projects (plus to have worked in Design Build industry)
