er Gathering Operations Description COMPAMY Energy Bluestone Gathering located in New Milford, Pennsylvania delivers Marcellus Shale gas in Pennsylvania and New York to Millennium Pipeline and Tennessee Gas Pipeline. The system consists of natural gas gathering, compression and dehydration. We are seeking a Manager Gathering Operations who will have responsibility for managing and coordinating all natural gas gathering, compression, dehydration and transmission operations in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania and Broome County, New York geographic areas. The Manager Gathering Operations shall: • coordinate activities with Company operating and support departments to insure safe reliable operation while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulatory agencies in accordance with 49 CFR Part 192 and the gas safety regulations of the States of New York (NYCRR16 Part 255) and Pennsylvania (Ch. 59), • manage operations workforce, equipment and resources to ensure reliable performance of the gathering, compression and transmission system • communicate with natural gas producer customers and transmission companies to ensure clear requirements, schedule and expectations, • identify and drive necessary changes to ensure continuous improvement with managing resources, and • coordinate emergency management organization and public relation activities for the geographic area that includes local law enforcement/fire services/1st responders and the affected public. Key Accountabilities -Manage, coordinate and maintain a high level of safety and reliability in all operating activities in the area of responsibility and coordinates activities with other gas handling stakeholders (producers/gas transmission companies). -Operate in an environmentally responsible manner and in accordance with company guidelines and federal, state and local regulations. -Manage operations and resources to meet gas nomination targets on a daily basis. -Manage resources, budgets (O&M/Capital) to meet company goals and expectations for the gathering, compression, dehydration and transmission of natural. -Prepare, monitor and forecast operating budget requirements. -Prioritize, plan, schedule, monitor, and control work utilizing work management systems and business systems (SAP). -Develop a highly trained, skilled, productive, and diverse workforce that is team focused on safety, reliability and accountability. -Administer, interpret, and apply federal and state regulations and rules (DOT/OSHA/OPS) to insure compliance. Insure environmental and ISO compliance. -Administer, interpret, and apply specifications and requirements for operation of production, transmission and compression facilities and equipment. -Administer, interpret and apply any collective bargaining agreements, vendor and/or contractor contracts, standards for employment, company policies and work practices. Qualifications Qualifications -Associates degree in an analytical course of study, such as engineering, science or management, is required. A Bachelor degree in Engineering or other Applied Sciences is preferred. -Five years’ field experience in production, dehydration, gathering and/or transmission activities related to natural gas operations with progressive leadership experience. -Experience with natural gas metering and instrumentation is preferred. -Experience in the gas/oil industry preferred. -Direct supervisory experience preferred. -Natural Gas Midstream industry experience preferred. -Highly developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability for written and verbal communication, computer software and business applications required. -Highly developed and demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills -Subject to DOT testing/OQ training and certification. -24/7 on-call and the ability and experience to prioritize and handle emergency situations is required.
