Part-time Admissions Representative

ng part-time Admissions Representatives to attend high school college fairs, consortiums, conferences, and conventions. The Admissions Representative is a part-time College position, and reports directly to the Director of Recruitment. Ideally, the Admissions Representative should have a background in Music, Business, or any other area in which the College specializes; however this is not a requirement.  A deep interest in helping young people in deciding on their future in choosing a College is vital, and helping them to identify a career-track is very important.   The day-to-day activities of the Admissions Representative may include some of the following: Assisting with Open House events at the College Attending college fairs, and participating in outside visits to high schools and guidance counselors Participating in Career Seminars at the College, and other events designed to attract students Developing relationships with high school guidance counselors Making follow-up contacts with prospective high school students and other candidates for admissions Assisting the Director of Recruitment in planning the visitation schedule Attending music industry events and other activities in which the College may be involved with, including Student Grammy’s, Audio Engineering Society Conventions, and other industry related events.   The Admissions Representative should have a minimum of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college.  Technology skills (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) are essential.  Ability to make a professional appearance, and work cooperatively with others is essential.  Must have a car, be willing to travel, and live in the following territories.
