QuickBooks/Accounting Instructor

/> ~~NYC Based Higher Education Institution is looking for a professional Bookkeeper Instructor with Quickbooks experience Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent training accepted or Masters Degree, CPA or Certified Bookkeepers preferred At least 3 years of teaching experience is desirable Must three years of general industry accounting experience In-depth knowledge of and experience with Quickbooks, Excel and accounting principle Minimum of two years of experience with Quickbooks 2-3 years in development and presentation of adult training programs preferred Facilitate a mini-presentation of a class lecture during the interview session The successful candidate must be able to deliver core training on the following content areas: • Introduction to Accounting Fundamentals • Introduction to QuickBooks • QuickBooks for Accounting • Payroll Accounting • Import and Export Excel reports with QuickBooks • Creating a QuickBooks Company • Creating Customers • Creating Vendors • Reporting • Understand Inventory Methods Certification Requirement Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor – to train, troubleshoot or set-up Quickbooks How to Apply: Candidates should email their resume and cover letter by no later than September 30, 2014 for consideration.
