Product Manager

f the leading providers of international e-commerce seeks a Senior Product Manager , who will enhance the world-class platform in ways that measurably improve the global ecommerce experience for both retailers and international shoppers. Will manage a prioritized roadmap for the product vertical, and identify, create, and execute strategic opportunities to add value within it. Responsible for driving innovation across products, leveraging  industry experience, data analysis, and input from stakeholders. The Senior Product Manager possesses a unique blend of business and technical expertise, which allows you to both understand problems and creatively solve them. Responsibilities: Will lead a product vertical, including roadmap development, feature prioritization and backlog trimming, and will supervise and develop highly competent Product Managers. The team will be responsible for executing industry-leading product strategy and tactics in a fast-paced agile environment to deliver measurable improvements to the platform: Identify Opportunities: Understand the problems of clients, prospects, and international shoppers, and conceive new products or features to solve those problems, in alignment with company strategic objectives Discover, Define & Design: Identify and document business requirements for a product, create mock-ups and high level flow diagrams, work with design teams to compose best-in-class user experiences Build: Write user stories, define acceptance criteria, answer developer questions, demo features, and ensure overall product quality Measure and Iterate: Set and analyze metrics for success and use these to drive further innovation Communicate: Collaborate with marketing, communications, and client management teams to define rollout and beta testing plans, and to internally and externally deliver compelling messages about the exciting products we are building Qualifications: 5-10 years of product management experience, preferably in an ecommerce or related web-based software technology company Prior experience managing a team to successfully meet or beat revenue and/or operational goals Visionary, able to see the big picture across multiple product lines of a complex global business, and can simultaneously employ both long-term strategic and short-term tactical thinking Adept at understanding the trade-offs between various solutions to a problem or opportunity, and communicating recommendations with influence Expert at managing expectations in a rapidly changing environment Skilled at multi-tasking and prioritizing across many simultaneous short- and long-term high profile initiatives Strong written and verbal communication skills. Enjoy keeping up with the latest developments in ecommerce technology and interaction design. Prior experience conducting usability testing and analyzing test results and site analytics to deliver high-performing customer experiences Track record of continued success amid progressive growth in responsibilities Maintain a global perspective and carry a strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications: MBA or related advanced degree/work experience Project and/or program management experience Prior experience with agile software development
