We are looking for a Staff Engineer to help us to solve some of the most difficult big data problems using leading-edge machine learning methods. We are seeking: 8+ years of experience, showing a steady upward career progression in the art of Software Engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering Expertise in C or C++ and strong working knowledge of popular scripting languages such as Python or Perl Experience with multiple development methodologies and source control tools, such as Agile, Git, Mercurial Established background of designing and implementing applications and services You get massive amounts of high-quality work done by contrast to your peers. You love helping and mentoring others, showing leadership as a world-class hands-on developer and architect Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary for team collaboration Desired: Design and development of Distributed Computation solutions for Big Data with Hadoop or grid frameworks Design and development of Machine Learning solutions with open source toolkits and in-house proprietary technology Design and development of user applications for data visualization You might have experiences writing Assembler, or x86  You’ve shipped and supported multiple web properties
