Human resources specialist
Responsibilities: the human resource specialists acts in an administrative, clerical or para-professional support role. Provides hr customer service support by directing questions and/or requests to appropriate personnel. Maintains various personnel records via mainframe computer system. Assists in putting information into database from employee paperwork, including such actions as new hires, account changes, transfers, pay changes, address changes, leaves of absence, separations, deductions and additional pay. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent required.5 to 10 years administrative experience preferred. Must have knowledge of broad range of activities and procedures within own work area, and applies administrative skills gained through experience. Has an understanding of each hr functional area and keeps abreast of changes in order to direct questions to the proper person in other areas of the company.
