P/T Oracle DB Administrator

Hours per week: 20. This is a part time position. The Fraud Activity Comprehensive Tracking System (FACTS) is an electronic drawer, composed of numerous and varying databases and interfaces that permit efficient access to current and historical information on all audit and investigative activities involving Medicaid providers and/or recipients. The application is web based and is accessible in real-time by over 1, 200 users across the State in five state agencies (OMIG, DOH, AG (MFCU), OSC & CQC). The FACTS system is comprised of over 30 related modules. This position is mission critical to support the maintenance and on-going development for the FACTS system for OMIG to carryon its mission. Tasks/Responsibilities: Oracle (version 11g or higher) and SQLServer (version 2008 or higher) database administration. This includes performance tuning and monitoring, backup & recovery using RMAN, maintain Oracle high availability environment using Windows Clustering/Oracle Fail Safe, instance maintenance and trouble shooting. Develop, troubleshoot and performance tune complex queries.  Perform database optimization. Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, execute ETL scripts that extracts data from the Medicaid Data Warehouse to load into the FACTS transactional and reporting databases. Skill level of Expert: 84+ Months of Typical Experience. Candidate is able to provide leadership of large teams and/or extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. Requested Qualifications: 60 Months of Experience in Oracle database administration (version 11g or higher).60 Months of Experience developing and performance tuning complex queries.60 Months of Experience in logical and physical database design and optimization.24 Months of Experience working with data warehouse/data mart, Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB), development and execution of ETL .
