Time Permanent Position for a large US Company. B-1074 Progress Software Engineer Location: Job is in Detroit (work remotely), MI Domain:  Computer/Software Experience: 2 Years Salary: $60k-$85k   Job Requirements: Good oral and written communication skills regardless of audience Willing to work with the Client's programming standards Established work portfolio Experience Needed: Four plus years of collaborative development experience Strong experience in all aspects of the software lifecycle Two to four years of application development experience in Progress 4GL Team-oriented experience highly desired Five plus years of experience in general software development methodologies Related experience in software testing and design desired Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in software development/related field or equivalent work experience Job Responsibilities: Work with other engineers, developers, Progress DBA's, architects, QA, system engineers and product managers in solving new and existing technical issues Understand requirements, implement designs, and provide administration tools and documentation for specific projects Measure and verify that new and old code has acceptable performance and scalability Maintain ownership of the projects assigned Participate in Design and Code Reviews Follow and enhance existing development processes Consistently meet project deadlines Interface with business leaders in the early development of specifications and requirements Perform regular on-call duties Extensive knowledge of Unit Testing   There is the possibility to work remotely from your home anywhere in the United States for this position.     Full Time Permanent Position for a large US Company.   "Make sure the Skill Set, experience and justification for the job must be well demonstrated in your updated resume, Otherwise client will assume that you are not qualified for the job, even if you are."
