Quality Assurance & Operations Analyst
esponsibilities: The Analyst is responsible for daily operations of the project and working with the staff. The team member must lead and manager the Quality Assurance efforts. The senior analyst will work closely with project team leads to ensure that quality assurance tasks are executed. This team member must also work collaboratively with project teams to understand client requirements and deliver well-architected manual and automated test solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience leading quality assurance efforts in a web-based environment using the Microsoft .NET framework. Job Responsibilities: - • Contribute to the development and execution of quality assurance and quality management processes. • Responsible for Batch File/Image Processing. • Fix anomalies identified and flagged during processing. • Stage documents and indices for production migration. • Work with project teams to develop, maintain and execute test plans and scripts. • Execute functional tests, identify, document and track defects to ensure resolution. • Participate in project status meetings as the quality assurance subject matter expert. • Review Business and Functional requirements to ensure requirements are “testable.” • Interface with Tegrit’s clients to facilitate the UAT process. • Contribute to multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, as project priorities warrant. • Provide estimates for quality assurance tasks. • Mentor junior-level staff to execute quality assurance and quality management processes. • Develop a detailed understanding of client business processes and the Arrivos product suite. • Develop, execute and maintain regression tests in support of regular software releases. • Continue to advance collective test automation skill set within the company. • Other duties as assigned Skills/Knowledge/Experience Requirements: • 6+ years of overall software quality assurance and/or software engineering experience, with exposure to the full product development cycle – from requirements through post-release. • 3+ years of test automation experience with at least two commercial test tool packages (i.e., QuickTest Professional, Testpartner, SilkTest, and Visual Studio). The selected candidate must have significant experience coding within the test tool’s native scripting language. • 1+ year(s) of performance testing with at least one commercial test tool package. • Able to formulate and implement effective test strategies, and identify areas for significant efficiency gain through automation. • Strong understanding of defect process and workflows. • Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server experience is a plus. • Strong team player who routinely demonstrates flexibility. • B.S. degree in Computer Science, or equivalent technical discipline. • Certification from American Society for Quality (ASQ) or Information Systems Examinations Board (ISEB) is desired.
