r Solutions Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for our direct client in New York, New York. The Corporate FP&A MIS Strategy team is seeking a Senior Business Analysts and Business Analysts to become an integral part of a cohesive team working on MIS-related transformation initiatives within Global FP&A and across the client's multiple Business Units and Global Functions. A hands-on, team-oriented individual with ability to utilize experience, analytical abilities, and technical expertise to facilitate FP&A MIS needs is required. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated 6-8+ years (for SBA) or 4-6+ (for BA) of progressive advancement utilizing business knowledge, analytical skills, and technical knowledge to build company-wide MIS and reporting. Candidates should have demonstrated capabilities in: Developing reports using Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio Navigating dimension hierarchies and building queries in Essbase databases Excel Finance or Insurance experience Working with relational & multidimensional (OLAP) databases Developing reports using graphical query/reporting tools Communication and time management; Working under tight deadlines Technical Skills: Hands-on experience developing reports using Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio Hands-on experience with Essbase databases - navigating dimension hierarchies and building queries Advanced Excel Experience in Finance or Insurance Broad experience working with relational & multidimensional databases preferred Broad experience developing reports using graphical query/reporting tools preferred RESPONSIBILITIES: Building and maintaining a library of Standard Reports for the CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review) a.k.a. Stress Testing process Working with Finance end-users to understand requirements and building presentation-quality reports and reporting decks (packages) SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelors Degree 4-8+ years of professional experience in the finance or insurance industry Hyperion Financial Reporting and Essbase hands-on experience required Financial and Management Reporting a plus Advanced MS Excel Technical and Automation Skills Strong attention to detail is absolutely essential Ability to prioritize work within tight deadlines Ability to self start, work independently and be adaptable in a dynamic enviro
