Visual Designer – Interaction & Mobile

you a Visual Designer or Interactive Designer with experience leading design from concept to launch?  Do you have experience in mobile interface design and strong visual design skill?  If you are an experienced designer with passion for both interaction and visual design, this Designer role will be a great fit! This well-funded (almost $15M in VC funding) startup that launched in 2013 now has tens of thousands of subscribers and is already generating millions in revenue.  Their subscription service offers up Netflix-style recommendations via their algorithmic data recommendation platform.  They are looking for a Designer to lead and execute projects for our apps and on the web.    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Lead design on new products from concept to execution and launch Continue to establish the company as a leader in design by creating new design patterns and methods Work with product and engineering teams to scope and implement feature development Expand the product offering and offer design support across the company Evolve the distinctive visual identity and generate ideas to grow the company brand WHAT YOU NEED: Experience in mobile interface design, having either shipped successful products or have a strong portfolio of relevant work Strong visual design skill and a demonstrated passion for typography and print design Prototyping abilities (code, animation, interpretive dance) Strong work ethic and relentless pursuit of new and creative solutions that define new patterns in software design A love for books, both as designed objects and reading material WHAT YOU GET: Competitive compensation of $140K + equity Full benefits – medical and dental Your choice of computer setup Unlimited vacation policy Work in a fast-paced, challenging environment  Team outings and dinners, collaborative environment So, if you are a Designer with extensive experience in mobile interface design and are interested in working for the next Netflix, please apply today!
