Our client, a prestigious L.I. based law firm, seeks a mid-level Trusts & Estates Paralegal to join their Garden City Office. 2-5 years of T&E Administration experience. Knowledge of 706 tax returns preferred. Great opportunity to grow your T&E knowledge in a thriving firm. REQUIREMENTS: *2-5 yrs experience with T&E Administration and knowledge of fiduciary and trust account maintenance *Manage estate administration from petition through accounting, coordinate trust administration of irrevocable trusts, assist with estate litigation by preparing and serving documents, coordinate information for private foundation and other charitable exemptions, and prepare reporting requirements * Assist with drafting and filing probate petitions *Must have strong organizational skills and experience with, as well as exceptional written and oral communication skills *Ability to multi-task, keen attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines a must! *Excellent computer skills required including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Salary: $45 - 55K DOE
