Digital Media Account Manager - Advertising
ummary/Overview The Account Manager, Advertising Sales primary responsibility is to support the digital media sales team in all aspects of their job. This person must not only be a team player within the sales group, but also must represent Vitals and it’s sales team externally when communicating with clients via phone, email and in-person. Strong comfort level when working with clients is a must. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Manage the Sales CRM tool to ensure accurate recording of sales account data. Act as point of contact for sales reps requesting information while out in the field. This includes RFP and other client documentation completion when needed Proactive calls to customer base when needed to ensure customer satisfaction and retention of business. Create campaign performance reports to detail positive results of campaigns, as well as optimization suggestions to improve business, upsell, and improve Vitals-client relationships Liaise with Sales Team members to support large accounts, and custom sold programs keeping sales directors “out of the weeds” so they can stay focused on selling Assist in preparing business cases for/with the sales team Ensuring timelines for projects are met which will require working closely with both clients, salesperson, and internal stakeholders CRM management and oversight to ensure Sales data and AdOps data properly overlay Collaborate with the sales team and product on team strategy and objectives Frequently preparing campaign analytics reports Always represent Vitals and it’s sales team in a professional manner internally and externally Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion. Job Requirements And Qualifications Education: BA/BS required Experience: 2 or more years in ad sales support capacity or AdOps experience Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be familiar with digital media landscape, comscore, 3rd party ad serving, Vizu and other 3rd party digital media platforms. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical category preferred Work Environment/Other Information (Travel Required, Physical Requirements, On-Call Schedules, Etc.) While this position is based in Vitals NYC or NJ offices, the account manager will be expected to accompany sales directors to client meetings and events when needed, as well as attend digital health industry events.
