Shulogique is a startup seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to lead all aspects of our online presence promoting its Internet based products and services to drive customer acquisition. Responsibilities This position is responsible for creating, executing and managing the company’s social media strategy. With the focus on increasing customer acquisition, developing brand awareness, generating inbound traffic, encouraging product adoption and establishing increasing conversion rates. This role coordinates with internal Marketing and PR team ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating a social media referral network. In addition, they will be directly involved in all key marketing activities. Get 10K women from our target market to sign up for a Shulogique event. Develop and implement a social media strategy that drives sales and awareness while building engagement with target market. Facebook likes > 10K Twitter followers > 10K…etc. Create, implement and manage social media programs that drive customer acquisition. Engage dialogue with target market and industry influencers while monitoring customer issues Monitor trends and encourage adoption of social media tools Searches for news/articles to post Implement social media campaigns to drive awareness and participation at marketing/sales events Write blog articles Use social networking analysis tools to help assist with strategic decisions and track success Monitor internet for brand related topics of conversations Collaborate with website team to develop an effective SEO strategy. Create and update daily, weekly and monthly reports Have fun! Requirements BS Marketing, Business, Website Design/Interactive Media or equivalent program 3+ years track record of social media experience, or similar In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Youtube, Twitter, Flickr etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios Proven ability to positively impact customer acquisition and help company meet or exceed its business goals. Knowledge of blogging ecosystem relevant to the company’s field Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Ability to be creative in implementing strategies on a limited budget Experience in creating, sourcing and managing content development and publishing Is eager to meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility Brings to the position outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Ability to communicate results to management and in a fast paced environment Excellent English communication skills (oral and written), including the ability to explain and present program concepts to a variety of audiences.​ Willingness to have fun, work in a startup environment, build a company, make a big impact and be rewarded for delivering results.
