Senior Account Executive - Strategic Accounts
time Sales / Marketing / Advertising / PR Executive $80,000 to $120,000 New York, NY Relocation Package: No Bonus: $30,000 to $60,000 US Citizenship Required: Yes Job description We are looking for outgoing, ambitious Senior Account Executives who are looking to build upon their successful experience in display and search advertising. If you enjoy being challenged and want to join one of the fastest growing search technology/advertising sales companies, then we would like to hear from you. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for leveraging your existing relationships within advertising agencies and direct advertisers to sell our digital advertising solutions across the network. You must be comfortable closing accounts, working in a fast-paced environment, and selling over the phone as well as in face-to-face meetings with key clients. You must be able to demonstrate a proven sales track record in a competitive market, have a clear understanding of the online advertising industry, and have existing industry contacts. Duties and Responsibilities: ∙ Sell cost-per-click (CPC) and cost-per-mille (CPM) advertising. Discover, acquire, and develop new business through cold-calling and other business development techniques. Ability to bring on new agency relationships from your existing industry contacts. Note: 20-30% travel is required. ∙ Analyze and explain analytics to clients/advertisers. Reevaluate client results on an ongoing basis through FeatureLinkTM portal to increase market share and maximize revenue. ∙ Must possess an understanding of the company's products and services as well as the competition's strengths/weaknesses. Maintain familiarity with market conditions, including products, product updates, service offerings and new technology. Must have 3-5 years of relevant Advertising Sales experience. Desired Skills & Experience ∙ 3-6 years Digital Display, Contextual or Search advertising sales experience working in a sales environment with a business development background, preferred. Mobile or Video advertising sales experience a plus ∙ The perfect candidate will come in with existing agency or brand contacts/relationships that can be leveraged as your own book of business (travelling to accounts is required). Also, an understanding of the "inner-workings" of the national agencies is a plus...you need to how these companies work to be able to sell into them! ∙ Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM system (preferred) ∙ Strong communication and presentation skills; excellent customer service mentality; ability to negotiate with clients, close a sale, and be ambitious on the phone ∙ Bachelor’s degree We offer a competitive benefits and compensation package including: Medical, Dental, 401K, paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick time.
