This bleeding edge Internet of Things startup is creating a brand new product category in the infrastructure and connectivity landscape: a physical infrastructure that allows smart devices to exchange data without being connected to traditional connectivity networks.  With $3M in seed funding and well on their way to Series A, investors have quickly seen the value this company will bring to market.  They are looking for a VP of Marketing to drive innovative demand generation campaigns and manage overall marketing strategy. What you’ll be doing – You will: Plan, develop, execute & sustain all elements of go-to-market initiatives, including product launches, strategy, market research, target market analysis, outbound messaging & value propositions, differentiation, sales training & tools, and demand generation & thought leadership communications activity. Implement analytics and measurement tools to drive continuous improvement and feedback across go-to-market initiatives and help scale revenue  Lead tactical planning & execution of go-to-market launches between cross-functional groups. Establish organizational marketing credibility for potential institutional investors. Define all aspects of product positioning and rollout. Develop the key messages and positioning to support the brand, describe the benefits of the solutions, and convey the image of the company, throughout all marketing elements. Define differentiators of the product in the context of a target buyer analysis. Create & deliver materials for reference by Sales organization, including sales training, presentation materials and battle cards that help drive market adoption and sales excitement & success. Define and compose materials for external use to support product initiatives. Materials include website content, hardcopy and electronic collateral, news flash, white papers and other documents. What you need: Bachelor of Science Computer Science, Business Administration or Communications required. MBA desirable. Solid track record of marketing activities and public relations across multiple technology products required. Demonstrated success in developing and communicating a cohesive marketing strategy across different channels.  Track record of building loyalty and community among key consumers via traditional and digital means. Strong analytical skills. Expertise in determining key KPIs and in managing programs to achieve expansion of key metrics. Ability to be both highly strategic and distill data into meaningful recommendations, and deliverables. Self-starter mentality with an extreme sense of urgency; you drive issues to closure and know how to execute and influence others to do so.
