im Healthcare has an immediate openings for a Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant in Nassau County, NY.   Full-time, part-time and per diem permanent positions.    Clinical Responsibilities include:   Assessing the physical and psychosocial status of patients by means of interview, health history, physical examination, and diagnostic studies Determining eligibility of patients for entry into clinical trials Administering therapeutic measures and obtaining specimens as prescribed Dictating follow-up letters to referring physicians with summaries of treatment, response, and plan Maintaining provision of preventive health services (e.g. screening, risks assessment, immunizations, PAP smears, self-breast exam) Providing on-call coverage Performing patient triage and determining the urgency of physician’s evaluation.   To qualify, you must have a MSN, RN licensure in New York and 1 year of recent paid relevant experience.     Please send an updated resume along with your available date and times for a direct phone call.
