rement Manager   Major Real Estate company located in NYC is currently seeking an individual to manage the competitive bid and procurement functions for their expanding department.   Responsibilities: Prepare competitive Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and analyze bid responses considering factors such as total cost of ownership (TCO) to the Company, quality of product/service, commercial risk, selection of equipment or material suppliers and subcontractors, and any added value to the Company Provide comprehensive pre-negotiation data collection and bid analysis (i.e. leveling) Review plans, scopes of work, and specifications for accuracy and suggest value engineering cost reduction opportunities for approval by the business unit stakeholders Establish quality relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders in order to manage an effective procurement process Facilitate entry of accurate purchase order requisitions and reconciliation of contract invoices, as needed Provide services to support Property Management, as needed Assist with special projects and other duties assigned by the Chief Procurement Officer, Director of Procurement or Ownership The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years experience with project related procurement in a Real Estate related position.
