Associate Production Manager, Footwear, Product

f the world's leading fashion houses, is seeking an experienced Associate Production Manager to join its Shoe Production team in New York City. Please note that footwear is not required and that this role requires 2 trips to Asia per year. Responsibilities: Monitor production process on a daily basis Foresee possible production problems Communicate with overseas offices to maintain production schedules Look closely at issues that arise and deciphers what best solutions are Strategize on possible solutions for future problems that could arise Creative thinking for possible solutions to better the process Formulate reports to monitor production Communicate to Director status of production Track Production to all distribution centers Update sales team with weekly production meetings Liaise with all overseas agents for ready dates of production Production notes to production team Maintain, manage and keep on pricing charts Pre Class update and pass to logistics Work with legal and factories on all label requirements by country Track and communicate all Restrictive Substance Testing Clearly communicate with Legal all testing results Place production cuts into system and update all pricing Monitor pricing in system Communicate with factories on prices and minimums Open l/c Track all invoices Order and track all production and Sales samples Order all Top and PR samples each season Qualifications: 5-7 years industry experience PC Proficient Problem solving proficiency
