/> Billion dollar High End Retail Corporation located in midtown NYC needs:   Senior Retail Planning Analyst 2-3+ years retail/whole experience would be preferred. The Retail Analyst is responsible for supporting the growth of the respective businesses through working in concert with the Retail Analysts, Sales force, Field team and at times communicating through the accounts. Responsibilities: Weekly posting/ analysis of topside sales flash and AUR by account. Weekly analysis of style selling and report trends to sales and design staff. Maintain by account seasonal OTB and recommend necessary receipt flow / markdowns. Monthly analysis of business by door by account to capitalize on future growth opportunities. Analyze / recommend by account quarterly margin settlement – provide up front (4-6 weeks in advance) forecast of margin needs by account. Create by door seasonal sales & stock plans by account to ensure 6 month flows are in place. Participate in the presentation of the seasonal sales plans to the retailer senior management – prepare the meeting materials including sales plans, account histories & other supporting documents as needed. Participate in market appointments both in the business review and actual purchasing making recommendations based on historical sales performance Work in concert with AE’s to ensure realistic projections for replenishment are planned based on retail trend/plans to the style/color/size level. Utilize Demand tool to forecast initial projections. Weekly monitoring of EDI (replenishment shipments) to ensure we achieve stock plans and maximize monthly financial objectives. Assist Manager in gathering of wholesale budgets working with sales team. Requirements: Kohls experience is highly preferred 2-3+ years retail/whole experience would be preferred. Education - BA or BS degree MS office (Excel / Word / PowerPoint). Especially proficient in linking of Excel formulas/spreadsheets.   BASE SALARY to 80K IMMEDIATE INTERVIEW!   Sr. Retail Planning Analyst   This position is needed to execute the data, reporting, and planning functions for the company in support of informed decisions, cost-effective problem solving, and optimal business execution within the Neckwear Division. RESPONSIBILITIES: Account Analysis: Assist the Director of Retail Planning and Account Executive with salesplans, business management, and allocations. Manage/track vendor allowances, approve TopSide data, and track customer shipments for budgeting purposes. Brand Analysis: Manage inventory, assist with brand purchasing, generate core replenishment and fashion allocations, review markdowns, collaborate with designers/brand executives to implement brand strategy, and recognize trends within our brands. Reporting: Generate/distribute weekly, monthly, and seasonal reports to Design, Account Executive and/or accounts to communicate trends/opportunities. Exception Reporting/Analysis: Evaluate POS data to determine exception trends or opportunities. Complete ad hoc analyses based upon business needs. Think critically to determine best practices for sharing findings. Planning: Collect, verify, and/or generate sales plans for customers to provide a management barometer for sales performance. Assortment Planning: Executing the monthly planning of customer orders to ensure optimal inventory allocation down to the individual door location. Forecasting: Project inventory need for core and fashion utilizing current inventory and forecasted need (history, salesplans, trend, etc.). Manage and minimize excess inventory in LA warehouse for key brands/accounts. Requirements: Two to three years related experience Analytical, data mining, data QC experience Bachelor degree of Arts or equivalent Excel , MS Office/Outlook, Salestrack, Webserver, Royal 4/GUI, WDS System BASE SALARY to 75K plus Bonus IMMEDIATE INTERVIEW!
