AL MANAGER - EXCEPTIONAL OPPORTUNITY with six figure potential!         IMMEDIATE Hire for Qualified Individual   QUALIFICATIONS: Strong customer service, problem solving, written and verbal communication, organization, follow-through and leadership skills.  GM must have a general knowledge of fitness, with fitness, retail and hotel or hospitality management experience preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in recruiting, training, sales generation and operations.     OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.  Increase revenue and control expenses Achieve sales goals by actively managing all Department Managers and serving as resource for all gym related issues Execute all company marketing strategies and key business initiatives Ensure that retail inventory is managed and that loss reduction procedures are established and operating Meet daily with Sales Manager to review daily action plan for achieving sales goal Meet daily with PT Managers to review daily action plan for achieving sales/revenue goal Meet daily with Assistant General Manager to review all relevant issues and review daily action plan Meet weekly with sales members to review month-to-date performance and weekly action plan  Coordinate all month-to-date sales and expense tracking for all departments, including membership and training sales and renewals, retail and special programs Proactively re-forecast and implement creative strategies for achieving departmental goals based on moth-to-date performance Conduct daily audit of all transactions including membership sales/renewals, training sales/renewals, retail sales/inventory changes, petty cash disbursement and equipment/supply deliveries ·         Manage payroll and work with Human Resources to establish appropriate staffing levels to meet payroll budgets             across departments   COMPENSATION:  Salary base, bonus and benefits
