Senior Media Planner (New York City)

escription: Sr. Media Planner, Digital Location: New York, New York   The Position: The Sr. Media Planner works in tandem with the Associate Media Director, Media Director, Account Management, Digital Strategy and Project Management teams. The position is at a full service MC advertising agency based in Chicago that has expanded into the New York market. The primary job objective is to help execute and manage the strategies for our various clients in multiple display advertising channels; display, mobile and video, as well as get exposure to traditional media.   Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Participating in bringing to life the segmentation strategies in digital marketing channels as determined and driven by the Media Director and Associate Media Director Develop detailed targeting recommendations for social media that will hone in on the AfA segment Establish and report on analytical objectives, KPIs and goals Analyze online programs across multiple channels and provide campaign adjustment and optimization or on a regularly scheduled basis as agreed to by client Leverage data to identify areas for program improvement Foster strong relationships with our key media vendors to facilitate the development of programs based upon our client’s digital marketing strategies Work in partnership with Account Management to ensure the timely creation of and delivery of all campaign materials Spearhead the training and development of the junior media staff (TBD) Supervise the management of vendor relationships and financial stewardship of all activities with our digital media partners and our MC and GM agency partners. Maintain accurate budget reports for all clients. Works with Junior staff to maintain and update Media Department status reports   Qualifications: 3 years working with digital media planning and analysis Minimum 4-year college degree Expert in interactive media & marketing technologies (e.g. DMPs, DSPs, ESPs, RTB Exchanges, bid management software, digital research programs and ad trafficking) Interest in and experience with MC media properties preferred Passionate about your work and willing to give 110% Solution-oriented thinking Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PPT, Excel, and Word Strong communication and writing skills Excellent attention to detail A team player who can work independently
