Medical Coding Manager

Responsibilities: Drive and develop the on-site processes, coding/scanning staff and functions in Health Information Management related to coding to facilitate high quality, cost effective delivery of coding services to the client. Assess scanning/coding workflow processes and identifies innovative solutions. Maintain strict physician and patient confidentiality and follows state, federal and hospital guidelines for the release of information. Requirements: RHIA or RHIT and Associates or Bachelors Degree. CCS preferred but not required; candidate must be able to code both inpatient and outpatient records.
