ummary: Assists in analysis and interpretation of statistical info measuring office/practice, client and attorney performance. Develops an in-depth understanding of the data that is provided, understands where the data came from and determines the accuracy of the information. Responsible for producing weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports that are sent to CFO, Practice Leaders and Partners. Ensures that current and accurate documentation is maintained and performs all appropriate testing of new and current reports and applications. Provides analysis, definition and direction to computer related development and maintenance activities, thereby working closely with the IT group. Ensures consistency of terminology and methodology across all practice analysis reports. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with attorneys and staff. Performs a variety of ad hoc financial analysis across the Firm, as directed by department manager and senior analyst. Qualifications: High level of computer literacy with spreadsheets and database software is required. Ability to multi-task. Knowledge of a variety of reporting/query tools (Hyperion Financial Reporting/Essbase,) and ability to learn new tools as required. Advanced knowledge of Excel. Excellent analytical and trouble shooting skills with the ability to remain focused on task at hand. Ability to adapt to change. Ability to take initiative Ability to handle confidential/sensitive matters. Ability to communicate effectively and deal courteously/effectively with others. Flexibility to adjust hours to meet operating needs. Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree Minimum of two to three years experience with financial analysis and management reporting
