Corporate Director of Real Estate

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible to develop and implement a comprehensive Real Estate strategy for the Enterprise. Direct and execute the Real Estate activities necessary to support the Enterprise. Manage the everyday working relationships with landlords, internal and external customers. Purchase or negotiate short and long term real estate lease agreements. Keep informed as to current developments in real estate markets and financing to determine the most cost-effective approach to acquisitions. Responsible to hire, challenge and develop associates to be future leaders for the organization while maintaining positive morale within the department. Responsible to deliver productivity improvement utilizing continuous improvement methodology. Responsible to develop and deliver the budget, key factors, and other operational aspects for this area. EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in related area (Business, Management); or equivalent experience. 10 years of Real Estate experience. Three years of people management experience. Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
