Manger of Quality Engineering – Top Pay –
class supplier of premium products to the Aerospace and commercial market OEMs is seeking an experienced manager of quality engineering with proficiency in both strategic and tactical approaches to quality. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Business Management • Minimum of seven to ten years of directly related experience, in the aerospace manufacturing/forging industry preferred • DSQR (designated supplier quality representative) certified for GE, Rolls Royce, Pratt and Whitney, and/or Snecma is highly preferred • Strong working knowledge of quality systems and specifications • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and MRP Systems • AS9100 + NADCAP ideal, experience using Minitab is a plus • American Society for Quality certified Quality Manager or Blackbelt preferred Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Develop and implement systems to ensure processes and products are in compliance with quality standards and policies • Oversee all compliance related activities including Nadcap, AS9100, ISO9001, ASTM specifications, customer and internal quality requirements • Develop departmental strategy to migrate to tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints and Statistical Process Control • Motivate and evaluate staff, create development plans for key quality individuals
