This is a curious listing. The owners have gotten more young chicks & hens then they want or need. Most of the chickens are Sumatra-a rare breed-mixed with Cochin bantam or Americana. All these breeds are a smaller to medium size bird. With the laws changing so people can have chickens in town (check your town ordinances), these are a great choice. They also are a good choice for 4-H projects. The Sumatra breed is a little standoffish at 1st but when they get used to you they are very friendly, like to follow you around & like the Cochin are quite talkative.
