The area is extremely safe and convenient for those who travel in the city, and also a 5 minute walk to Central Park (for you runners!) and 10 minutes to Times Square by subway. Very close to Columbia campus and great for students. Best YET supermarket, starbucks, Chase bank and lots and lots of local restaurants available within easy walking distance (more than a few right next door!) You would be living with one friendly female, and an friendly male. We are both quiet and out of the apt for up to 12-15 hours a day, as we both work long hours and have activities after work.
