Court Liaison

volume law firm located in New Hyde Park, looking for a court liaison with knowledge of document filing in the Civil and Supreme Courts located within the 5 boroughs, Long Island and Westchester County. The ideal candidate should have experience with filing and retrieving court documents (summons and complaint, judgments, transcripts etc.). Duties will include but are not limited to filing pleadings with the court, purchasing index numbers, submitting judgments, filing transcripts of judgment, ordering and copying court files, pulling decisions and communicating directly with court personnel in a professional manner on  a daily basis. In addition to being highly organized with the ability to prioritize and maintain strong attention to detail. Candidate should have their own transportation but not required.
