Payroll Manager – $85,000– Toledo, OH, Area

ng global manufacturer and marketer of glass tableware products is seeking an experienced payroll manager. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or related field • CPP certification, preferred •Five to seven years’ experience managing multi-state payroll and payroll tax • Demonstrated payroll management and supervisory experience • Working experience in payroll tax at the federal, state and local levels • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll and time and attendance systems; knowledge of Oracle Payroll Systems, HCM, Kronos, Gross-up, preferred • Union payroll experience and ability to interpret union contracts, preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (specifically Excel) Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Manage accurate and timely payroll processing for executives and 4,000 associates to ensure compliance with applicable policies, contracts and laws • Develop and implement effective internal control policies in order to be SOX compliant • Manage preparation of reports, perform analysis of payroll records and reports • Responsible for accurate monthly, quarterly and annual payroll reconciliations and tax filings • Lead and develop payroll associates •Communicate and coordinate interfaces and accuracy between all departments
