Tax Manager/CPA---Trust & Estate--Public

essive CPA/Consulting Company, seeks experienced, self starter to focus on the following key position: --Review complex gift, estate and fiduciary income tax returns, including related schedules and forms. --Review of ficuciary accountings for estates and trusts. --Provide tax planning and consulting to our firm's high net worth clients, for estate and individual income taxes. --Research and consult on various estate, gift and trust related issues, such as trustee and beneficiary issues, Crunney obligations and generation skipping tax issues. --Identify additional estate and income tax planning opportunities for clients. --Oversee billing and collections of clients. --Manage, coach and mentor less experienced staff. --Pursue new business by developing and maintaining relationships, with key business contacts, prospective clients, and referral sources. --Make presentations, and write articles for publications. --Take an active role in professional, charitable and civic organizations. --High Visibility role. --Compensation to $175k commensurate with experience. Required Experience: --The successful candidate will have a Bachelor''s degree in Accounting and a CPA license. --A Masters in Taxation, or a JD would be a plus. --Requires 6 years of tax experience, in a public accounting firm, with emphasis on Gift, Estate and Trust taxes. --You should be a highly motivated, detail oriented team player. --Requires strong managerial, and client service skills. --Excellent written and oral communication abilities. --Any experience with RIA Checkpoint and or Thompson Go Systems is a plus.
