Job Title: Junior Administrative Assistant Location: New York, NY Salary: $45-55k + OT + bonus Position Type: Full Time Duration: Permanent Date Posted: 03/28/2014 Requirements: *Bachelor's degree *1 -2 years of administrative experience *Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) *Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; able to manage priorities and workflow *Excellent verbal and written communication skills *Attention to detail *Ability to interact and deal effectively with diverse individuals at all organizational levels *Ability to plan and organize projects *Detail oriented and conscientious. *Ability to present in a professional matter. *Desire to grow within a firm. *Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. *Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Suite, Outlook. Responsibilities: *Greet visitors in a welcoming manner and ensure they are comfortable (e.g., take coats, provide refreshments) *Manage telephone calls including screening calls, taking accurate messages and distributing in a timely manner *Prepare local/international itineraries including booking travel arrangements for committee, board, and personal trips; prepare expense reports *Assist with scheduling meetings, luncheons, office parties, holiday parties and like events as required *Prepare documents on computer using spreadsheet software *Assist with scheduling meetings, luncheons, office parties and events as required *Arrange conferences/meetings (i.e., schedule room, order refreshments and meals) *Assure discreet handling of all business matters *Perform special projects or other duties as assigned *Phone coverage and directing calls. *Administrative duties such as copying, filing, scanning and clerical work. *Maintain an accurate conference room, open office reservation calendar and visitor log. *Schedule travel arrangements as needed *Process expense reports as needed *Research and clerical projects, word processing/data entry. *Assist with administrative support for office staff and Executives HOURS: 8am-6pm
