Principal Data Engineer – Data Hadoop

Time Permanent Position for a large US Company. BI-263 Principal Data Engineer – Data Hadoop Warehousing Map Reduce SQL Location: Job is in NY Domain:  Engineering Experience: 2 Years   Experienced Principal Data Engineer is required having 2+ years of data-specific engineering experience in addition to the 3+ years of general engineering experience and experience with SQL Server and Data Warehousing is a plus   Educational Qualifications: A Computer Science or related degree preferred Job Responsibilities:   Mentor your peers and be a thought leader for the whole team. Analyze business requirements for database design, and implement changes to databases as necessary, including optimizing database design for machine learning. Provide guidance on systems design, architecture and analytics infrastructure to support big data technologies and distributed architectures. Partner with our Data Science team on metrics and insight development   Job Requirements & Experience: And a good understanding of information delivery architecture including creation of abstraction layers, SQL query paths and optimization, report level calculations and end user reporting architecture 2+ years of data-specific engineering experience in addition to the 3+ years of general engineering experience and experience with SQL Server and Data Warehousing is a plus Designed and implemented fast and efficient data processing using 'big data' processing techniques and tools (e.g. MapReduce) Implemented the latest technologies like Hadoop, NoSQL, Vertica, etc.; used scripting skills like Pig and Hive; and had virtualization experience across platforms like AWS   Full Time Permanent Position for a large US Company.   "Make sure the Skill Set, experience and justification for the job must be well demonstrated in your updated resume, Otherwise client will assume that you are not qualified for the job, even if you are."
