Conference Services Floor Manager

/> CONFERENCE FLOOR MANAGER     Basic Function:   Conference Floor Manager is responsible for the overall operation of Conference Floor including:  Meeting Room Set Ups, Audio Visual, Pantry, and Conference Concierge Services.   Essential Functions: Supervise the overall operation of Conference Floor including Conference Services Attendants, Audio Visual staff, Pantry staff, Conference Concierge. Develop and conduct employee training through weekly and monthly departmental       meetings, Establish scheduling guidelines for department. Ensure payroll and expenses are kept with budget guidelines. Assist with set up and tear down of conference Assist with set up and tear down of Audio Visual in Conference Rooms.  Working knowledge of video and audio equipment, computers, projectors, camera and telephones, to include hook up and trouble shooting. Communicate and listen effectively with department staff and other departments. Evaluate and advise employees according to prescribed procedures. Ensure and enforce procedures and policies. Interact effectively with guests. Communicate effectively with Director of Conference Services. Order all equipment for department (rental items and purchase equipment). The flexibility to work a varied schedule due to business levels and industry demand Marginal Functions:  Assist with set up and tear down of coffee kiosks which require lifting 50 pound hot coffee urns on top of 4’ kiosk, lifting glassware weighing 10 pounds per rack onto a 4’ kiosk surface, pushing and pulling refresh cart 200 feet to and from storage areas. Participate in the Manager on Duty program as assigned.
