Housekeeper/Room Attendant - Part Time

/> ROOM ATTENDANT Position Summary The Room Attendant is responsible to ensure that standard of cleanliness in assigned areas are achieved and maintained on a consistent basis to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction in cleanliness and service, within the established time limitations. Essential Functions * Pick up keys and work assignment list from the Housekeeping Office. Position Reauirements ********* Stock cart daily with linen and amenities Clean and maintain each guest room to Hotel standard as defined by the property. Maintain service closets to keep them clean and organized. Maintain equipment to keep it clean and in good order. Report any deficiencies to Executive Housekeeper. Turn over guest rooms in half an hour intervals. Report any maintenance issues to Engineering or Housekeeping supervisor. Vacuum and shampooing of carpet. Remain alert, courteous and helpful to guests and co-workers at all times. Constant awareness of safety hazards (ie broken glasses, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks) and report to the housekeeping office. Minimum Knowledge Housekeeping experience desirable. Ability to work on feet for an extended period of time, and will work a flexible schedule Formal Education and This position requires a minimum formal education of a high school diploma and a minimum of one year job-related experience
